Pathways

at eye level an ancient
pathway runs parallel
to a lookout post above
the roof lines

but it's raining now
and no one is
looking
and no one is traveling

dusk brings out the
unlikeliest of creatures
and the everywhere
house cat...

...nocturnal creatures
on their way to
dinner and activities
requiring no moon
