Starred

You wear the stars as your

Peers wear tattoos

Each one arrives as a

Gift

A remembrance

Studding your body with

Light

Telling a story with each

Rotation

Another eon passes with no

Future

Or past

Listen

The stars speak

Explaining what’s

Seen but seldom

Known
